From our camping in Marina di Massa, it’s easy to reach the nearby resorts.
In Marina di Massa you can spend pleasant hours walking and admiring from the historic pier, a terrace overlooking the sea, the scenery of the Apuan Alps up to Piazza Bad Kissingen, with the murble sculpture “Le vele”.
Numerous are the events enliving Marina di Massa and animating this little resort town. There are plenty of restaurants and bars where you can spend a pleasant evening with friends.
Those who love oper-air sports, would enjoy the Ugo Pisa Sport Park, offering a path in a pine forest facing the sea, within short walking distance from the campsite.
From Marina di Massa starts a large driveway which connects the coast of Versilia to Viareggio. A cycle lane connects Marina di Massa to Forte dei Marmi.
At the foot of the mountains, between the Apuan Alps and the Tyrrhenian Sea, you can find Massa, a Tuscany town with less than 70,000 inhabitants. The heart of the historical center is Piazza Aranci, recently restored and closed to traffic. The Square is overlooked by the majestic Palazzo Ducale. The centre of Massa is definitely worth to be visited. The old town centre offers many clubs and restaurants, and during the day you can follow a path from Piazza Aranci to Malaspina Castle from where you can admire the sea.
